SwimTrack is a small publication for swim parents in Portugal. This page says what we keep about you and your swimmers, why, and how to remove it. Our database is in the EU, in Ireland.

Your account

If you create an account, we keep your email address. You sign in with a link we email to you, so there is no password. We use your email to sign you in and, only if you ticked that box, to send you the newsletter. Our email provider, Bento, sends the sign-in emails.

Your saved season

My season keeps what you choose to save: meets, articles, your club or region, and the swimmers you follow in Meet Navigator.

Your swimmers

You can add your swimmers: their full name, year of birth, girl or boy, and whether this is their first season. We use this to show their year, their results and the qualifying times that apply to them. No other user can see your swimmers. You can remove a swimmer at any time in My season, and that also removes the links to their results.

Results and finding your swimmer

Meet Navigator shows the competition results that meet organisers publish: names, years of birth, clubs, times and places. When you are signed in, you can search those results by name and year of birth, and link the right ones to your swimmer. We never show birth dates. To limit misuse, each account can search 5 times a minute and 30 times a day, and we keep a note of when you searched, not what you searched, for two days.

Payments

The season pass is paid through Stripe. Your card details never reach us.

Analytics

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to see which articles get read. That sets a few cookies. If you decline, none are set, and you can change your mind at any time.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Your choices

In My season you can see, change or remove your swimmers and your saved season. To delete your account and everything linked to it, or to ask what we hold about you, write to us.

We are finishing a full privacy policy. Until it is published, write to us with any question.
